Do Not Book Hawk's Nest Lodge
Got there no one at the front desk. Called a number and got sent to another location. We Book a newly remodeled room and got sent to an older place. That's right we did not get to stay at Hawk's Nest Lodge where we booked. The place they put us at least the people were nice. The place was old with rust in the sinks and tubs, the ac unit would not turn off all night. Very run down.

If we could give a -5 star we would. It was absolutely disgusting. Stains and hair on the bedding, not clean at all in the bathroom, dried food on the carpet, very old mattresses. The list goes on and on.

First we were told they don’t allow pets but their booking page clearly states pet friendly at $10 per dog max 2. They charged us $40 for our dog. The place was dirty. The towels were stained. Terrible upkeep of the room. Walls were patched. Everything needed to be replaced. No tissue in tissue holder. We used our own bedding due to uncleanliness of the room. No coffee In room or in the lobby! We were charged $142 for our horrific stay! This place should be shut down.

For the amount of money I paid for my stay it wasn’t worth it. The room had mold and smelt like it. The bathroom was not clean. Just the overall experience wasn’t good. The door had tape on it and I didn’t feel safe .
