Far exceeded expectations
What a fantastic experience! We had a wonderful stay while staying in a bit of history. The hotel itself is a museum and every room done so well. Far exceeded my expectations.

A Real Charmer
Such a charming place! I would recommend it to anyone who can climb stairs. The hike is worth it!

Sometimes one wants more out of a trip than just another chain that looks just like the last one. That was us, and we wanted a unique experience. Well we found it, and loved every minute of it. We could almost imagine ourselves as nineteenth century guests in the home of good friends. Its not just a place to spend the night, its an experience to be savored. Oh, and breakfast was divine!

Not our cup of tea!
Our stay had ups and downs. We are not early risers so would not recommend to those who are like us. The noise in the morning woke us and kept us up. The inn keeper was on the phone Friday morning and her voice traveled up the staircase and even with door shut could hear it easily. The other guest left and checked out with usual chatter by 9:30 ish. I saw 3 rooms that were left open when the other guest left and ours was the smallest and less decorative. Our bathroom was the size of a cruise ship one if you know what that is like. All in all just not what I expected. Service staff was very polite. The room was clean. It is a good area to get to other spots in Little Rock.

Empress of Little Rock.
The Empress is among the finest of the finest B&B’s in this country. An exquisitely fine place to stay.
