An all around good place.
It was a decent stay for a good price. Not a 5 star place but was clean, house keeping did a great job and is in a great location. Not our first stay here and will be back again.

Motel Buildings Under a Hotel Name
In summary of this very long review: this "Resort" has multiple buildings, and if you get the wrong one, your stay will likely be substandard (seedy Motel quality) if you're a person use to 3+ star hotel stays. The staff were kind and courteous. In efforts to limit our stay we did not use any of the common facilities. This review is Specially for The Dayton House WEST building of the "Dayton House Resort", where my family and I stayed Easter weekend of 2018. Our experience there was awful, and if you read the various online reviews I think they are so mixed because the "Dayton House Resort" is a mixture of a few DIFFERENT buildings. Of these buildings, at least part of one of the high-rises has apparently undergone a renovation and images of those rooms are what you see plastered all over their website, which gives a bit of a false impression. Indeed, the complaints of others are true regarding the parking and a desperate need for renovation of certain buildings such as The Dayton House West. As best I can tell this "Resort" has become an amalgam of neighboring properties that they have purchased and slapped on paint to maintain some sort of uniformity...some are decent and some are garbage. My experience staying in the Dayton House West building was DISAPPOINTING and akin to staying at a cheap rundown MOTEL, not Hotel, despite paying "Resort" hotel prices for this property!

Breakfast should be included with room rate as other hotels I've stayed at. The location was great and entertainment at pool side was great along with pool side snack bar.

Ok stay at Dayton House Resort
Late getting checked in but received vouchers for breakfast. Room was good but very dated. Parking was never available at the building (unless you didn't have a SUV), and if you go anywhere at night you will have to park at in the furthest parking lot 2 streets away.
