I visited for one week june 30 to july 07. Over all i give this hotel a B. I was there with my family. My wife myself three teenage daughters. There was issuse with AC in my daughter's room and they had to move out then move back in which was a little inconvenient. The choice of food in the buffet seems to be the same everyday with little changes. The speciality restaurant is a hassle to make reservations and it's like they awlays booked so i guess you have to make way in advance. The hotel, the pool, the beach and scenery is beautiful with very pleasant staff. Over all i give this place a "B".

The food wasn’t at all that great. We were thinking even the Mexican food would be better than here in America but it wasn’t at all. We have better Mexican restaurants in the states than what we tasted in Mexico. The beach was never sifted and the seaweed was awful along the shorelines. We saw the respect next to ours being cleaned up everyday but ours wasn’t even touched. I think that the shops could have better quality things for shopping. The desserts were all bad tasted like prepackaged. The New York cheesecake tasted nothing like cheesecake. The best food we had was when they set up the text pool side for a total of 2 days. We made reservations every night for a restaurant and were deeply displeased with the quality of food. No taste and very over cooked. The rooms were nice and our maid cleaned everyday. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service at the restaurants were phenomenal but the food was just not good. They need to get better food to match the rest. To have an overall phenomenal experience the food needs help. We had better food at the Mexican airport at Guy Fieres restaurant than we did all week at the resort. My husband also noticed the bartenders watering down the alcohol every time they made drinks as well. You could tell when I first ordered a drink and had to ask for more alcohol. The drinks tasted like virgin daiquiris. We over heard other say the same and have to ask for more alcohol.
