Rodeway Inn, Pigeon Forge
Poor
The room was dirty. Sheets had stains on them. One comforter had burn holes in it. Drinks spilled outside of the door when we got there and when we were out and came back in there was fresh spills. ?????? Could smell cigarette smoke from outside or other room. Not sure which. We only stayed one night due to these issues. NEVER stay here again!!!!! WIFI sucked. Ice machine broken.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room had a river view and roaches. Other than extra guests was great for the price.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Just seemed grungy. Water from sink and bathtub had a steady stream all night (couldn't turn it off). Cigarette burns in comforter. But, what can you expect for $67 a night

Fair
Strongly recommend avoiding - I've stayed here before and it was fine, but it was a couple years ago, and their overall rating is definitely influenced by former days. Learned while there that this hotel will be demolished in Feb 2018, and it was obvious that they've ceased to worry much about upkeep. Linens and such were all clean, the carpet was vacuumed, etc. (it's not the cleaning staff's fault the owners no longer care), but the fan in the bathroom was nonfunctional, there was no iron, and we had a few small insect friends. Another guest's allergies kept acting up, and she was of the opinion that it was probably black mold in the overall building, since she's only allergic to that and dust, and it wasn't dusty. I wouldn't call any of it *quite* horror-level, but I definitely wouldn't stay there again either.
