Stay at Club Fiji
Club Fiji being a 3star resort was definitely more than 3 stars. It is private, most days we had the beach all to ourselves even though the place was fully booked. I had 4 massages over a week. It was relaxing and lovely. The service is amazing, staff couldn’t be more helpful. The breakfast is basic. It is a continental but they provide noodles and spring rolls. Plenty of fresh local fruits, bread and cereal. They even did takeaway brekky for us as we had to set off early on the first few mornings. We were a group of 4 adults and booked 3 rooms. Bures were our preferred choice but they were all booked out. My elderly mother had trouble going up the stairs to the rooms. Staff were very helpful and offered help whenever they saw her walking up. I would highly recommend it. Amazing sunsets.

Oh the serenity! Was sitting out looking at the water drinking a Canadian Club and dry enjoying the view and the peace. When I arrived it seemed remote but only a FJD10 cab ride to Nadi town. Dining options are limited but usually enough. Make sure you go Mongolian night on Friday. The chef is a champ working over the BBQ. 2 things on the downside - hot water seems a bit hit and miss (mostly miss, shower by 5PM), but may be only the big building. Despite a "No smoking' inside the room - had a definite smoky odor which was evident on my clothes when I arrived home. Nice alternative to Denarau Is.

Mainly leaving this review to let people know, if you walk 20-30 mins east down the beach you can reach the main Wailoaloa beach area with various restaurants, shops and other hotels. Staff were friendly and welcoming, facilities were good but a bit old, restaurant was overpriced for what you got. Some beautiful sunsets over the beach and nice hammocks and loungers to enjoy them.
