The hotel staff was extremely nice, and flexible. They were able to accommodate my late checkout because of the marathon that I ran. The hotel was within walking distance of everything that I needed. The bed was nice and it was a quiet room even with being right across from the elevator.

Don't dismiss out of hand, good budget hotel
The ownership of this hotel recently changed, back in August 2016 I believe, so you can't really use the older reviews. My husband and I stayed here because we were attending a wedding right next door, so the location was great for us. Free parking was great. Very good lighting in the parking area, which made it feel more secure. (It's downtown Omaha, folks, so yes, there will be some characters walking around. Don't assume that makes it unsafe. Just be smart.) It was obvious the hotel had undergone some renovations very recently and was still in the process of others. This is your basic 2.5 to 3-star budget hotel. Period. Don't come expecting more or you will inevitably be disappointed/unhappy. It's a very good option for budget-minded travelers. Nice foyer, fresh paint in all the hallways, new furnishings in the room we were in. Had to hold the handle down on the toilet for it to flush fully, tub drained slowly, missing a fan in the bathroom ceiling, some mildew on the shower curtain, missing t.v. remote -- standard stuff your average budget hotel. I travel a lot and stay in these types of places. This was "fine" for one night. We weren't up in time for breakfast, so I can't say anything about that. But the price, location, and good parking lot lighting made it a good option for us.

One of the worst hotels in downtown Omaha
When I booked my hotel stay online I was told that this was a brand new remodeled hotel which included breakfast every morning and wonderful accommodations when I arrived at the hotel I missed my turn because the sign has not been updated and it still reads Econo Lodge. When I checked in the inside carpet and the hallway area looked great but when we got on the elevator there was the worst mold smell ever! When we entered our room the room setup was very nice with two nice size beds but, the bathroom toilet sound like someone was dying every time it was flushed and the sink had a very clogged drain. the bathtub also had a very clogged drain which made us have to wait for the water to drain out b4 the next person could shower! we were told that morning that there was no breakfast being served yet until the remodel was complete so that had us having to go and pick up breakfast in the morning! every hotel in this area offers free breakfast so had we known that and not been given false advertisement we definitely would not have chosen to stay at the Omaha Inn! never again will we stay there nor recommend it to anyone! it was one of the worst hotels that we have stayed in in the city of Omaha!

Night clerk told me they had breakfast, and morning clerk told me there was no breakfast due to remodeling. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke.
