8/10 Very Good

Great Value
Martini 17 was a great, affordable option for a friend and I during our 2 night stop in Milan! It’s brand new so everything in the hotel and our room was spotless and so comfortable. It was a little small but had everything we needed! The property is located a bit out of the way from the main sights in Milan (about a 8 minute walk to the train station and then a 15-20 minute transit ride) but it was our first time in Italy and coming from America, we were still able to figure out public transportation pretty easily! It was fun riding the subway and learning about it :) The neighborhood it’s located in is also relatively safe - we walked around midnight and felt comfortable doing so. If affordability and value is your priority and you don’t mind navigating a bit on your own, come stay here!

8/10 Very Good

From the outside this does not look like a hotel, which caused some confusion when the taxi dropped me off (it's roughly 10 minutes from Milan Central Station). The room I had was small but stylish with a beautifully tiled bathroom and a balcony overlooking the garden. It's relatively no-frills, so there's no mini-bar, drinks-making facilities, or restaurant. But it was immaculately clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English. Reception is only open until 11pm so late arrivals have to make special arrangements with door access codes etc, but these all worked fine.

6/10 Good
