Perfect location for what we needed for a few nights. Stairs are very narrow if you have a lot of luggage. There is some train noise but not terrible. Would stay here again given price and convenience!

Basic but really authentic and everything you need , lovely area , lovely view from rooms , friendly staff Couldn’t have asked for a better location lots around , pubs , restaurants and Paddington station just round the corner so very easy for us to travel to Wembley stadium for a concert. We normally book a hotel near Paddington if we’re off on holiday & taking a flight from Heathrow. Although this hotel is perfect for Paddington train station the lack of a lift would stop us from booking here unless other provisions for storing luggage is available. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

The size and equipment of the room/hotel was according to the price, and we had a lovely stay at St. David’s in Paddington. The hotel is situated superbly close to the Paddington station, many restaurants, and Hyde Park. It was over 30 degrees celcius outside under our stay, and the lack of air-conditioning in the room, situated right under the roof, was making sleeping at night kind of difficult. But all things considered, we were very happy with our stay at St. David’s.

Location was perfect. The room was clean. Everyone was so welcoming. The room on the ground floor was small but nice. The train noise and lack of elavator was bad but they were all mentioned in hotel details, it was not a surprise. The hotel was all good for a maximum two day stay. No regrets at all.

Great area very close to Paddington station with plenty of places to eat nearby. The rooms were small but decorated thoughtfully and full of character. Staff were friendly and on hand 24/7. Could hear the rumble of the underground but wasn't an issue on my floor.
