Alright except for the restaurant.
The room was fine, the housekeepers were nice and greeted us whenever they saw us, and the front desk staff were hospitable as well. However, the restaurant, apart from closing early without any advance notice, had what was in my opinion bad service. There was nothing wrong with the food, but the host was rude, and almost made a face like he didn`t want us in the restaurant. They have the notices inside the elevator that breakfast tickets can be exchanged for one of their dinner plans, but even so, he was rude and treated us like a nuisance. If you don`t want people using their tickets at dinner, don`t post it in the elevator! We had never been so we didn`t know if it was self seating or not, and he did not explain/try to communicate with us in Japanese or English. One of the cleaning/wait staff was also there and he was hospitable enough so it was just the host that had something going on. Other than that, the service at the hotel was alright, and the rooms were on the small side, but clean and well kept. Each floor has an ice machine and vending machine, which were also nice touches.

As with many of the hotels in Japan, the hotel personnel was always helpful and polite. We used the rooms mostly as a place to shower and sleep and it was more than adequate. The rooms were clean and up to date. I would recommend this hotel to others.
