Step inside and find yourself in an airy, open entryway with storage cubbies to your right for stowing hiking boots, backpacks, etc. A cozy nook at the far end of the entryway can serve as a home office for anyone working on the road, with a desk and comfortable executive chair. The entryway is wide open to a serene, inviting sitting room with a cluster of three comfy chairs and an upright piano. It’s a great spot to sit back and catch up with old friends, or have a family sing-along if there’s a pianist in your party!
A wide-open doorway passes through to a spacious kitchen, delightfully renovated with white cabinets, a stainless steel farmhouse sink, and granite counters. You’ll find plenty of storage space and counter-surface for food prep.
You’ll be well-served by a suite of full-size stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, range, range hood, dishwasher, and microwave. You’ll also find a collection of small appliances including a toaster and blender, as well as cookware, cooking utensils, a set of chef’s knives – the works! Cooking at home couldn’t be easier.
The kitchen is wide open on two sides, standing in the middle between the piano room and a window-filled, friendly great room with a casual dining table for 4, a coffee station with coffee maker, and an awesome sitting area. Enjoy a plush sofa, a plump chair-and-a-half with matching ottoman, and a leather recliner, all gathered around a fireplace with a large TV mounted above. Here’s where you’ll unwind together in the evening. So comfortable, you might even fall asleep before the movie’s over!
Back in the corner near the dining table, a door leads to the fully fenced and nicely landscaped backyard. Your first step leads you onto a small wood deck with a grill, and then onto a paved area for outdoor dining with a table seating six. Beyond that, there’s open space for kids and pets to play.
Returning back indoors to the sitting area in the great room, a staircase leads down to a basement with a carpeted game area furnished with a poker table, plus a full-size washer and dryer.
On the second floor, you’ll find the master bedroom with a king-sized bed. This bedroom is flooded with light from windows on two walls and is furnished with a dresser, and a small desk and chair. A corner fireplace is crowned by a wall-mounted TV, and there are two large closets. There is access in the hallway to a full bathroom. While the main floor has a quaint bedroom with a queen bed and a private full bath with a shower tub combo.
You’ll have to decide among yourselves who gets the bedroom with the private bath, and who gets the one with its own TV and fireplace!
