    U can't check in til 3 i drove for 11 hrs and i got there at 12 noon. I was extremely tired. On the website it says check out time is 12 but the real time was 11. It was suppose to be queen beds. Its was full size. I got 2 parking tickets. The sign says one thing and i thought i was safe i even asked staff they said it was fine. Now i have to pay 230 in parking tickets. Im pissed

    Good area

    Overall, the hotel is a clean place. The room was also clean, And I like the fact that there's no carpet in the room, it's like a mock hardwood. To me that's better because carpets in a hotel are disgusting. The only issue I had with the room I had was that the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. By even reported it to the maintenance desk and they went up to check on it. Nothing was resolved and it was all of last week. The weather was humid and stuffy so the nights were uncomfortable because it didn't cool down. The hallway was cooler. I'd be willing to stay again but only if the air conditioning system is working. Very convenient location with the 7 just about 300 ' away.

    Stay

    The halls smelled as we walked to the room. The room smelled too. The beds were shop creaky and old. We were willing to overlook these since the price was good until the water out of the faucet cameo out brown even from a water bottle machine on a different floor. We moved two blocks away and the water was fine. Definitely an issue with that hotels pipes.

    A bit more improvement, but I think it was good.

    Overall the stay was good, just good. I would have preferred a bit of cleaner accommodations, but I suspect this particular room doesn't get used much. Great routine cleaning. Helped the stay feel comfortable.

    the hotel is good. some of the staff are rude without experience no customer service,they are really bad they dont know how to treat a costumers, hotel policy are very rude and they dont care about the clients. the hotel have great location subaway station near and restaurant the hotel is good without the staff and policys

    Extremely disappointed. Our room was not cleaned properly - walls were filthy, floors were sticky and a plastic spoon was left on bureau. At night the hallways reeked of Marijuana, alarm went off three times... 11:30, 1:00 am and early morning. Called front desk and no one answered. Remind you it’s suppose to be a non smoking hotel. After Complaining in the morning the staff switched my room . Second night was better. I will definitely not be staying at Red Lion in the future.

    Hotel horror

    The hotel looked fine once I arrived but as soon as I got into my suite the room smelled like pure cigarette smoke so I went back down to the front desk I requested a new room the new room had a bathroom light that did not work at all I requested a new room again for the Second time in the toilet did not work in this third room so I go downstairs for the fourth time and now I request another room and I get in this room it smells like pure cigarette smoke once again but the lights and toilet now work so I settle because now it's an hour Into my stay at this hotel and I have yet to get settled or put my bags down I was very tired I am on dialysis and very sickly this was the most horrible experience I've ever had in a hotel in New York
