Hotel San Pietro, Naples

It was very comfy.

It was a VERY unpleasant experience. The rooms are NOT set for families o friends, but for couples. Let me explain why: there is a living room with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom, but there is NO door between these two rooms, just a curtain. Ok, this would not be so bad IF the bathroom was a separate room, but it is not! The clear glass shower enclosure is IN the bedroom, and the toilet is separated just by a whitish glass door. I have NEVER experienced such a lack of privacy. Travelling with your spouse is one thing, travelling with other relatives or friends is another altogether. While the people working there were nice, personnel was very limited. Only one employee in the breakfast room (although he did a perfect job) and no bell boy to carry luggage. We were escorted to our room by the check-in clerk but she never offered assistance. I've never stayed in a more bare-bones 4-star hotel. I go to Naples a couple times a year and I will never lodge at Hotel San Pietro again nor I will recommend it.

When we arrived in the room it smelled of sewer so much so that our son had to sleep with us in the adjoining room. The air would not turn on since it was cooler outside. The shower being 2 feet from the bed was not a thrill. The TV remote didnt work and after changing the batteries they have up hope. The outside area a dump with trash everywhere and it was a black market selling all sorts of things. The breakfast was the only plus.

The hotel and service was amazing. Our flight left very early and they even sent us with a to go breakfast . Very clean. We just had a couple things that needed fixed in our room. Handle in tub to change to shower nozzle, twinkle lights above our bed, but nothing major. It was gorgeous! Such friendly staff. The only thing we really noticed was it was not in the best neighborhood.
