Best place to stay in Vegas
Attended conventions at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Sands Convention Center, and Ballys/Paris Convention Center. Such a great location, best kept secret with many amenities to boot!

An oasis
This is a great find just off the Strip! Immaculate, quiet, comfortable, and near by a short walk to the excitement, if needed, of the bigger casinos on the Strip. Also nearby is access to the Monorail which is great for in town travel or travel to the Convention Center. Since there is no casino at the Platinum, there is also no smoking inside. The noise level upon entering is far below the loud din commonly heard at casinos. Consider the Platinum an oasis of calm in this city that never sleeps. Our room, a Princess Suite, was not only enormous, but featured a gas fireplace and a lanai with table and four chairs, a full kitchen, a quiet and separate bedroom, and a large bathroom with soaking tub, a beautiful tiled shower stall and double sinks. Did I mention the coffee maker and the washer and dryer? In a town where everything can be had but only for a price, the perks here are a refreshing change of pace. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I'm in town.
