this seemed more like a 2-star hotel. The toilet was broken and part of the ceiling was ready to fall off. The room had a disgusting smell and the breakfast was much below the standards.

Theft From the Safe In Our Room
We had enjoyed it very much until the night before leaving, when we realized $300 and a coin purse was missing from the safe in our room. Police called (could not speak or understand English), but staff seemed to think it was impossible that someone could have gotten into safe and that we must have taken it out, which we definitely did not. Prague does not use U.S. currency and the money was for our return home.

They originally tried to put us in a room that was dramatically different than the one we had seen online (i.e., "bait and switch"). When we complained, they moved us but originally tried to charge us more. In general, the staff was okay. If your request was easy, they were pretty good. If it was more involved, they weren't great problem solvers unless they were pushed. There was one woman on the breakfast staff who was not good and needs to go back to customer service school. Overall it was an ok hotel -- not great, but also not terrible.
