Small but functional, noisy
The hotel was clean, the staff(front desk) was helpful and friendly. They gave a wonderful suggestion for Easter dinner! The room was small but had enough room for luggage and hanging clothes. The bathroom was small but had a heated towel rack(nice). The windows and walls provided little to no insulation from the outside and hallway noise (we were on the 1st floor)

No AC allowed in March!
Hotel is clean and staff was friendly. We were there in March and they said we could not use the AC in the room. Staff claimed it was an Italian law that AC could not be used until May, however couldn’t find any such thing online and it was the only hotel out of 4 that we stayed at during our trip that this happened. Our room was located in a corner and even with the windows open and temperature in the mid 60’s the room was very warm and no breeze due to the location. Luckily it was a 1night stay before departing for home, so we tolerated and didn’t complain, however it was not a comfortable nights sleep.

Noisy
Our experience in the room was close to a disaster. There was absolutely no privacy in our room. The wall between us and the room next to us was so thin that we could hear the entire conversations. The guest next-door decided to play loud music until 2 AM. We called the reception 4 times and yet it took them more then one hour to turn it off. Was excited to sleep in in the morning, but the hotel was under going LOUD constructions in the room close to us starting at 8am. I understand that hotels don’t have a legal obligation to inform their guest about constructions but I find it to be pure greed that hoteliers make the call to continue to sell rooms especially in areas where there is construction. Super disappointing hotel experience to an otherwise beautiful city.
