Very comfortable and quiet
The hotel room was a little outdated but still comfortable and big for our family of 3. We had a balcony as well. The staff was very friendly, thanks Valentina for your dinner recommendations. It is across the street from the ruins. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the main street. The hotel has a beautiful lemon tree garden and is very quiet. Breakfast was included and abundant. It is worth staying for a couple of nights since there is so much to see in Pompeii and in the vicinity. We'll be back.

A little gem in a nasty town.
Best location to see the ruins. Nice place to stay with a really nice garden. BUT! Don't stay for longer than it will take you to see the ruins and possibly go to the volcano. Pompeii as a town is as Matt as the rest of southern Italy is.

Appeared to be the best choice in Pompei, but...
Booked this hotel to stay at with our family to visit the Pompeii ruins. Location was great and it's a short walk from the train station. The room was nice but I think we got an outdated one, it didn't look like the remodeled ones I've seen pictures of. The hotel grounds are lovely, there's a garden area outback and the entrance/outdoor dining area is nice as well. The only real negative, but an important one, is the bad service we received. Out of the various front desk staff we encountered, only one of them was friendly, and that was short lived. We attempted to eat at the restaurant downstairs, but apparently the menus they show upstairs do not apply. When we asked about those dishes we were rudely shut down by the waitress there. There was a language barrier between us, we don't speak Italian and she didn't speak English, so that went nowhere fast. But it was her demeanor towards us that we didn't appreciate. She wasn't the slightest bit interested in helping us, so we left and ate elsewhere. The next morning we returned to grab a quick breakfast before checking out, but to our surprise at 7 am there was nothing setup. We waited a bit but only some fruit ever made it out. My husband desperately wanted a cup of coffee before we left but they never brought any out. He asked about it and was abruptly told no, and that was the end of that. However I did notice one of the ladies bring another gentleman a cup of coffee... ??? We won't be returning or recommending this hotel...
