Trumbull & Porter
Very industrial chic interior. They stripped the carpet and scraped the tile from the floor and left the concrete bare but polished. There is not many soft surfaces in this place. The nightstands in the rooms are low, metal, cheap tables that you might find for use outdoors. The reading lamp is mounted so low that it is useless for its intended purpose. Beware - they want to charge you $10.60 per night for parking in their surface parking lot. This is not disclosed anywhere on the Hotels.com site nor on their site. This place has done well in creating a hip, chic vibe. I was hoping for some more creature comforts for the approximate $200 per night stay.

It was hard to get ahold the front desk before our stay which was frustrating but the room was very clean and the hotel is very nice. We would absolutely stay there again.

This hotel was way overpriced, $22 for a breakfast at the hotel is ridiculous. The best thing about our stay was Charlie the bartender. Charging extra for parking? The rug in our room was gross, and our shoes stuck to the floor! We were informed that check in about some extra charge that is not listed anywhere on the website! Lil Durk

Simple room, very modern. We had a room facing the patio/bonfire area and it was a bit loud at 1:30am on Friday. Nice dining and good food and service in the restaurant. Good location to get to downtown venues.

Charming Detroit Hotel
Awesome Detroit vibes here! Great courtyard area that would be a fantastic place to hang in the summer. There's also a fire pit, so I guess it's all-season! Fun murals and photographs for decor and walking distance to downtown for a show or sporting event. My only gripe would be that we walked through the front door three separate times and no one ever said hello or welcome, even when I was headed to the counter to check-in.
