Poor 2.0
Only good thing was the distance from airport and
Starting off,the staff needs to learn how to do profiling ,my room was booked online for which the payment had already been made but then too I was charged 3000INR as security deposit (which is very weird as five star hotels don't do that),so when I asked the girl at reception about it she told me to specifically give the credit card and when I check out ,the amount (3000) will get reversed to my account,so I gave my credit as I was already too tired and believing the next day when I was checking out and I asked the boy at the reception about 3000INR,he was suprised to know that (here it shows the poor coordination among the staff). So now coming to service - I wanted a few Xerox so called up the guest services and asked the same from them and they told me to email them with details like when do I want them etc etc,so I emailed them with details like I wanted those papers at 0630hrs,to be kept outside my room door so when I woke up I opened the door to check whether they have kept it or not ,it was not there. Then I called the guest services again, told them about this and guy at the other end didn't even sounded apologetic,he told me to collect it from the business center. So I paid 11800+3000 for the pathetic services.

Poor 2.0
The least you say, is better! Hyatt Regency, if you compare it with a 3 Star hotel, then yes, you will be very happy. But it definitely doesn’t meet the standards of a 5 Star hotel. I have booked a smoking room and a late check-out request. Both were confirmed by their staffs and an email was sent to me. When I checked-in, they allocated me a non-smoking room and I have received multiple calls from their management, everytime when their duty shift changed, informing me that I’d be fined Rs. 5000 as it is a non-smoking room and cigarette butts were found from my room. And every time I had to ask them to check their records on what I have booked, they’d calm down. While checking out, I had asked them to keep my bill ready, so that I can quickly pay the bill and get going, but they didn’t oblige, I waited for 15 minutes for their staff to come to my room and help me carry my luggage to the exit, but got no help and at last, I had to carry my luggage myself. On top of that, on checking the bill, I found that they have billed me for the complementary services, which I again had to get it corrected. We lost almost 30 minutes in this goof-up and I got late for my flight. I had to pay at the airport for a fast forward check-in. To summarize, this is a laid back, lousy hotel with very lazy staffs. Their housekeeping doesn’t clean the rooms daily, but they clean it every 3 days and on-demand, can clean it every day. This was absolutely a bizarre state of affair and I personally would

Good 6.0
Poor reception services
I was attending a wedding at the Hotel and decided to stay for three days . I did not have a wedding card . I phoned reception to see if they could send someone to buy a simple wedding card for which I would pay for this service as well as the price of the card. This was because I did not know Mumbai and did not have transport. The staff checked if they could do this for me and after a lot of toing and froing , it was not possible to have this request met. There are porters hanging around the reception desk trying to grab your baggage , my baggage was taken from me before I had a chance to say know. One evening I asked the reception staff to arrange a taxi for me . When I went out , one of the doormen said that a hotel taxi would be too expensive and decided to get me a really small , smelly, rickety , dirty car and put me in it. I did not like the fact that I was not given the chance to decide.

Exceptional 10.0
High end, close to airport, good facilities
The Hyatt might be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in Mumbai. It's got a great gym, huge buffets, and very comfortable rooms and shower. My only complaint is that upon arrival I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my room to include breakfast (I booked a no breakfast option on, and was stunned to receive a bill at the end of my trip adding $45/day for a "room upgrade" to include breakfast and their executive lounge (which really has nothing to do or eat). In hindsight, I would have rather eaten outside or simply paid for breakfast a la carte. I would advise including breakfast option when you book, it will be far cheaper. Other than that, I have to say this is a really nice hotel. Service is world-class, including Samar at front desk, and Harshada, Dil & Rhea at the Restaurant. Would recommend based on quality, but beware of added costs.

Very Good 8.0
Beautiful Hotel
This is a beautiful hotel conveniently located near the Mumbai International Airport. Rooms, amenities and food was great. The only issue I had was on check-in a certain fee wasn't properly communicated to me. I was offered a package that provided transportation to the airport, breakfast, access to the lounge and cocktail hour. I was told that all together it was a certain rate per room for all of the days. I confirmed with them the total charge would be would be double that amount as I had 2 rooms for two days. Upon checkout, I received a bill for double what I was expecting and was informed that the rate communicated was per room per night plus taxes and fees. I am not upset with the service as it was great and I would have probably taken it anyway but it wasn't a pleasant surprise that it was more than double what I was told.
