Front desk seemed “ indifferent “, only offered to carry my bag up 3 floor, husband had to carry his ( I am sure porter would have done it if asked, but he did not offer) Restaurant was also mostly indifferent, breakfast great, but give yourself 1 1/2 to eat ( between service, cooking and eating), so if you have tours planned you have to plan ahead, view for breakfast is fabulous, on the beach, quiet, laid back, AC in bedroom perfect, but fan in kitchen and living room insufficient ( but who cares). Garden view was a view of roof and tv dish and parking lot, but overall condition of hotel clean and freshly painted

It’s a perfect place for a relaxed and easy going stay. It is clean, not glamorous and the appliances and fixtures are in serious need of updating. But it is a short walk across the parking lot to the beach, ocean front rooms have a balcony with a lovely view, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and always a available, and it feels completely safe. I would definitely choose to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gem. The staff was very welcoming and very accommodating to any request. The rooms were very spacious and we had great views of the ocean. Great value for the price and we will definitely stay here again when we are in Grenada.

It is right on one of the prettiest and calm est beaches on the island. Units are available with ocean views. It is kept clean, but is quite dated. To me it has a 1950's island vibe which is appealing and refreshing. If you are looking for high end luxury, this is not for you. But it is quite charming, the staff are genuine and friendly and the location cant be beat.
