      In need of an update

No frills hotel in desperate need of an update. Stayed one night, it was okay.

Overall is good. Like the buffet breakfast. Customer service is helpful. The tub needs to be cleaned more. Also the drawers were dirty. No places to hang towels except on the back of bathroom door.

      Okay for a quick stay

Ok for one night or if there aren’t any other affordable options or availability, which was our case. We did like all of the amenities offered by the Ruby’s Inn company.

      Perfectly Adequate

Conveniently located to the entrance of the park and with a friendly staff, it was exactly what you would expect for an older hotel, but still a good value. The beds were old and hard, but the room was clean. The breakfast buffet, which was included in the very reasonable price, was the perfect thing to kick off a day of hiking in the park.

      Great place to stay

Everything was great except for a minor detail - when checking in, I had to fill out a form and there was a question on whether I wanted to donate to the National park. I specifically did NOT check that, but Bryce View Lodge charged me the extra $2 anyway. The amount was small so no big deal as I enjoyed my visit to Bryce Canyon National Park, but it is the principle I am objecting to — I specifically did NOT check that I would give the extra donation but I was charged for it. Otherwise very comfortable, included buffet breakfast was great, and proximity to the park cannot be beat.

We checked into two rooms before finding one that was clean. The first two rooms both had leftovers in the fridge, caked on spilled drinks that was never cleaned up in the fridge and floors that needed vacuumed. This hotel was fine but I feel that if you give someone a dirty room once maybe you should make sure the second room is cleaned before handing it out.
