Great 1st stay in Sugar Land!
This was our first time staying in Sugar Land. We were there for the 5 Seconds of Summer concert on Friday the 28th so we stayed the night that Thursday. The hotel was clean and modern looking, the room was spacious, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was good and the service was amazing. We’ll definitely be staying here again for future events in Sugar Land!

This was a nightmare! Well the first thing you notice is the moldy smell when you walk in. Then as soon as we get in the room we had an unwelcomed visitor crawl under the door. I screamed and my husband killed it... Thank Goodness. I always check the sheets but since we got in late I forgot to check the comforter. When I woke up the next morning I noticed a red stain on the comforter which freaked me out! I went to the front desk to ask for a clean one and nobody came. I met up with the housekeeper and asked her to bring another one. She tried to say that it was lipstick but it didn’t look like that to me. The bathroom ceiling looked moldy and the carpet really needed cleaning. I must say that this was the first time that I have been afraid to touch anything in a room.... even after wiping everything with Clorox wipes!

you get what you paid for?
This place was an extreme disappointment. From the service to the room, nothing went well. Upon my late check-in, you were greeted by someone who seemed to be done with the place. Then you go your room and the bed had an odor and the bed sheet made me feel like there were bugs crawling all over me me. In my mind, i thought "screw it. too tired to deal with it". So I tried and regretted it. Couldn't sleep at all. Next morning, went to work, came back and maybe thought everything was in my head due to exhaustion. Then I realized it wasn't. Next day, I saw the cockroach in the lobby, having my room chair being stain with bodily fluid, having cratchy bedsheets and a maid leaving at 4pm so they're unable to clean your room. THEREFORE I highly do not recommend sleeping here. Yea, I went cheap. I guess this is what I get for staying. so it's YOUR CALL.

Worst Traveling Stay In My Life
Easily the worst traveling experience I've ever had in my life. It all started upon entrance. We weren't even greeted until 5 minutes after we had walked in. A disgruntled staff member came from the associates room as if they had just been woken up and looked at us as an inconvenience. The member was completely dry and flat, didn't seem any sort of enthusiastic, and was extremely rude. The member also didn't have knowledge of their own work area, as they were not able to answer some questions we had about the hotel. The beds were falsely advertised, it was listed on the site as 2 queens, but the sizes were much smaller and closer in size to twin beds, because of this issue, sleeping was extremely difficult. The rest of the staff was terrible and not helpful whatsoever. After being told that they would "check" on the issue upstairs (we had complained about very loud noises from the room above), no-one even batted an eye and the issue persisted. The next morning, we had left our room at noon to go out into the city and returned at around 6 to find that our room had been untouched and was left the exact same way that we had left it. It was as if room service just didn't even acknowledge our room's existence. Upon inquiring about it, we weren't even able to receive an apology, much less any compensation. The staff's inability to do anything for us angered us, so we had paid the price for two nights but had left a night early because of our terrible experience. Terrible Hotel.
