Excellent Hotel!
Amazing experience... very well located, clean and comfy. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind and very attentive... It was a plus for me that they also spoke Spanish. Breakfast was really good. And there're shared washers and dryers very convenient in the 1st floor that uses coins. As most places in Europe, the elevator is small, but if you already know that.... it´s a no brainer. Thank you!

I would say overall it was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Some of the cons though: They provide you with fresh towels on the day of arrival but will not replace them during your stay. The shower room was extremely small. I am petite, barely stand 5’2 and yet I have bruises on both my arms from hitting them with the shower fixtures. The location of the hotel is si convenient though. It is a few minutes stroll to the vatican and the hotel is surrounded by small stores where tiu can buy bottled water and other necessities. Restaurants and pizzerias are also just a few steps away.

Family of 5
We stayed in a two room suite with a veranda balcony. We have a family of five of my husband and I, and three full grown teens. It was important to us to have separate beds for the kids and the bedroom with the two twin beds was great. The pullout couch in the living room was also good. Only one bathroom wasn’t desirable. We made it work for a short stay, but a master bathroom would be better. The master bed “double” is in fact two twin beds pushed together like many descriptions in Europe. We found the beds all to be good. Not luxurious, but still good. The deck had a table and chairs and we enjoyed drinking wine out there at night after a long day of touring. The morning breakfast was great. Not top notch Rome cuisine, but when you are eating in amazing places during the day and evening, it was nice to lounge on the deck and eat what they provided with no extra charge. Unlimited coffee. The deck on the floor of the breakfast also has a fabulous view of the city and namely St Peters dome. We loved being a block away from fabulous food and shops. It is a bit far from the other main attractions in Rome but we have a healthy family that was able to walk 7-8 miles a day to go to and from wherever we wanted with many surprise attractions and meals along the way. The end of our trip, we were wearing out and found the taxi service via the app My Taxi very good and we cut down a few miles that way with little cost. I would recommend this hotel for families for a pleasant stay.

Trianon Borgo Pio ❤️
Our family of five stayed in the two bedroom suite for 9 nights. It was a perfect set up for us—everybody could find a quiet space to relax at the end of a busy day. We loved the location and the cleanliness. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. And, breakfast was the perfect way to start our days. We would most definitely stay there again if we were traveling to Rome!

Great place to stay!
Great place to stay. Close to St. Peter’s square, restaurants, & shops. Hotel was a little hard to find because the sign on the front was small.
