Good hotel in a good location.
We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Dioclezanio, and we enjoyed our stay. There were three (3) of us (me, wife, daughter) and the hotel had moved in a small roll-away for our daughter. Despite that, we still had enough room to move around, unpack, and get organized. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast was very good: scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, bread, rolls, donuts, and croissants, and meats and cheeses, plus of course cappuccinos, and very fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel has a gym that is nice, but a bit small. There is also a sauna that looked very clean and nice, but we didn't use it (July). I also really enjoyed that the hotel keeps in the lobby a selection of newspapers, refreshed daily, to include the international version of the New York Times. Several times during a lull in our almost non-stop sightseeing, I grabbed the paper and sat on the couches just off the lobby to read the paper and have a coffee. The location is a 5-minute walk out of the main entrance/exit to the Rome Terminal train station. There were several local restaurants and convenience stores (fruit, water, ice cream, beer, etc.) very close to the hotel. Our first night we spent 3 Euro for 6 large bottles of water, which lasted the 3 of us for most of our stay. Most of the attractions are west of the hotel, so this hotel is as far east as I'd stay in Rome. Great staff. We'd stay again.

excellent
We stayed here our last night in Italy because it was an easy walk from the train station, so we could catch our train in the morning to go to the airport. The hotel was on a side street so we had no noise issues. The room is "European" as is the bath - the shower is small, but there is a bidet, and the amenities are great. Everything worked well. There are stairs, and an elevator. The staff's customer service was the top notch. The ONLY disadvantage is if a short cut is taken down a side street, there was a large amount of foul litter from night partiers. Stick to the main route, and this is completely avoided.

Relaxing stay in busy city
Great hotel in great location, near Rome Termini station, but also very quiet. We could walk to almost every tourist sites. All the personnel was very nice and helpful. We went to the Opera thanks to their advice and reservation.

Rome Hotel
The hotel was ok, clean and comfortable. It was very close to the train so that was nice. The wifi did not work very well though. I did not use any other amenities although we did decide on this hotel because it had some fitness equipment, which we never utilized.
