Horrible end to a fantastic trip. We love Venice!
I've never written a negative review before, but this hotel was extremely unreasonable in charging us for a room we did not book and did not need. I booked two rooms for my granddaughter, daughter-in-law and me, for one night before our morning flight to New York. When we checked in, they had three rooms reserved for us. I had my reservation confirmation printed out, which confirmed two rooms-- one with one adult, and the other with one adult and one child (age 9). Obviously, as I explained as we checked in, we could use only two rooms. I assumed they would open the third room up for a booking that night. Not so. The rooms were not prepaid- I was charged for three rooms when we check out of the hotel the next morning. After an absolutely wonderful ten days in Venice, this was an unfortunate end to our trip. The hotel was just ok for an overnight before a flight. Nothing special, and some real deficiencies: 1. Shower ran hot and cold-- no way to adjust for warm water. 2. Beds were hard. 3. The dining room offered only a full priced 3-course dinner, so we had to walk down the highway to a restaurant (which was very good!) The hotel could have allowed us to order some food a la carte. 4. Hardly any shampoo, for the double person room. 5. TV was tiny, and only in Italian. Not even BBC, or any other English channel. 6. Charged a lot for 5-minute shuttle to the airport-- 25 Euros for two adults and one child. 7. Wifi kept cutting out.

Fair 4.0
The property was clean and the breakfast was good. We used the hotel for an overnight stay between plane journeys. The hotel advertises an airport shuttle, but when we called the hotel from the airport, there was no shuttle available to take us to the hotel. They advised us to take a public bus which left us 300 meters from the hotel on a busy highway with no sidewalk. It was very dangerous! The room was peculiar indeed, being on two levels. To reach the bed, you have to climb a tall rickety staircase. The bathroom is on the lower level, so if you have to use it at night, without waking your partner, you have to negotiate the rickety staircase in the dark. The sofa was unfolded out to make another small and uncomfortable bed but we wanted a sofa to sit on, so we asked to have it folded. This was never done. Also, there is no elevator in the hotel, so you have to be in good shape if your room is not on the ground floor. The next day, when the shuttle back to the airport was available, we had to pay 15 Euros to use it, even though the airport is less than 2 km from the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel.

Close to airport and easy bus to Venice.
Location to airport is good. There is a shuttle available for 10 Euro. The property is good. We had three in our party so we stayed in an room with a loft and a pull out couch. The days were warm and the nights were cool and the property still had only the heat available and no air conditioning which made the loft very warm at night. Our room faced the street which was a bit noisy with traffic so we couldn't leave the windows open all night. The room was very clean. The breakfast was included and it was very nice. We walked to the bus station about a half a mile away and it took us about 20 minutes to get to Venice. Coming back at night was also very easy. The next day we walked to the airport about a mile away and took the water taxi to Murano, a great day. The only real negative that I have to comment on was the man who welcomed us upon our arrival was unnecessarily rude and defensive. It just left a real sour taste in my mouth. He is someone who should not be the first person you come in contact with when you arrive. We did interact with other people in the hotel reception later that evening who were very helpful and nice.

I wanted a hotel near the airport for a day of rest between our cruise and our 12 hour flight home. This location was listed on the site and the price was lower than most. We had a shuttle take us directly from the port and that fee was €45, but they were very nice and spoke to us like old friends. The Hotel did not have our reserved room ready, but put us in a lower level room right away anyway. The room was cozy and a door opened to the outside for fresh air. The a/c did not cool. It was wonderful. There was a wonderful little restaurant meters away up the street where we ate lunch and dinner. The bathroom was delightfully large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was little square pan with vertical French door walls that opened up on the rest of the bathroom. There was no place to place shampoo or soap. The included breakfast was as good as on the cruise. They provided a shuttle from the hotel directly to the terminal, and the driver insisted on taking the luggage in to the check-in himself. Overall it was a wonderful overnight stay.

Good 6.0
A very restless, sleepless night
I was underwhelmed by my stay because although my room was clean, fully equipped and had a comfortable bed, it was small, pokey and next to a exterior metal staircase which people clanged up and down till late. The walls were so paper thin it was akin to staying in a dormitory. I was kept awake all night by phone conversations (which I could hear word for word) and coughing of the person in the next room. The restaurant closes at 9.30 pm which was unfortunate as I arrived on a late flight. There was a restaurant over the road though so I didn't go hungry. Also the hotel didn't respond to my email about a shuttle from the airport. It's a very short journey and cost $15 one way by cab! The hotel shuttle is slightly cheaper. On the positive side, the breakfast was very good and the (American?) member of staff at the desk in the morning was incredibly friendly and helpful. A different room might afford a different experience but I would suggest avoiding room 121.
