14 miles to kings canyon. Rooms small. Ie 2 twin beds had about 2 ft between them but rooms very clean and beds comfortable. Sufficient because if u r in the park, you will only be sleeping there. Building old but well kept. Would stay again based on proximity to park and excellent restaurant attached to property. Restaurant not fancy, but food excellent, portions huge, prices very reasonable. Nice to sit outside on stoop with other guests in the evening.

We stayed in one of the barn banks with a shared bathroom. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was just a few yards away. Restaurant was also yummy and you can pay an extra $10 to use the kitchen and laundry area. Definitely worth the price we paid and a good home base for Kings Canyon National Park.

6/10 Good

This is close to the entrance of Kings Canyon National Park. Good for a budget overnight stay. The staff is great and the food in the little restaurant is good. The bed is okay - not great support. I did not like that I had to pay an extra &10 to get ice and use the refrigerator. The $10 also covers laundry. The dryer took forever to dry my small load.

8/10 Very good

Good value to us; just understand what you are getting for the price. The rooms are very small, even a bit cramped. But they are clean and comfortable. The property is in a very convenient location; less than 30 minutes from the Big Stump entrance to Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Less than 30 minutes to the closest town, amenities. We really enjoyed the restaurant on the property; very good food at reasonable prices. Not for someone seeking a luxury hotel experience. But great for someone looking for a clean, reasonably priced hotel convenient to the two national parks. Worked out great for our needs.

This place can be called "rustic." The room is tiny, but functional. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed. But the location is awesome! Just minutes from Kings Canyon. A longer drive to Sequoia. Surrounded by the foothills of the Sierras. Gena is a delight, the restaurant is great.

4/10 Fair

The staff was good, it has kitchen, living room and bed room. However, it smell bad inside, no screen on bedroom window, the hot tub was not working, either too hot or fully cold, no water if set in the middle. Every furniture is pretty old. Will never stay 2nd time.

I didn't have to meet anyone which is a plus. It is a little expensive for what you get. Room was clean. Room is small. Don't expect luxury like vegas hotels. It served it's purpose for rest for the next day.
