Good starting point for families with cars
Wonderfull large appartement and a nice atmosphere. Great staff and service. The hotel is located in the exact middle of nothing! That is the down side. Not really walking distance from V&A Waterfront, it's a short hop by taxi wich you will need for going back home at night anyway. Do not pick the hotel just because of the pool, it's a roof top shallow kiddie pool. That beeing said, all the reviews about the hotel are correct, - a very nice experience!

ordinary , very ordinary
Very ordinary. Much was the surprise when I was told on arrival that I must pay for parking. More upsetting is housekeeping. Nothing but the thrash in the bin should be removed from the room.

Good service
This was our first stay at PH North Wharf, we usually stay in Pepper Club if in Cape Town but I must say we were impressed with the service! it was very good. From the moment we entered the parking area, Trudy welcomed us with a smile and kindness. Lorenzo at reception was just as kind. Sivuyile at breakfast was very helpful. Thanks to the chef for the scrumptious omlettes and everything inbetween. The is a room for improvement though in housekeeping. Our room 101 the shower (main bedroom) was not in a good condition a lot. The was mould on the ceiling and mould evidence on the wall tiles as well. The seems to be a few corner cutting as well when it comes to cleaning the rooms. Other than that we were really happy with our stay! Thanks a lot to the PH North Wharf team, we MIGHT just return, mainly because of the service from the staff that makes all the difference!

Decent and affordable
Overall, a very nice hotel with polite staff. The bedding was very comfortable. However, the breakfast spread can do with more daily variation. Also, although the apartment was very well-equipped, basic stuff such as slippers was not provided (although you can call the reception for that) and body shampoo was not promptly replaced.
