Nice stay but no early check in
Overall it’s a lovely hotel and it was a nice experience but there were definitely a few things that could be improved. I had requested early check in, far in advance as I had an event I needed to get ready for. When I arrived they said they had no rooms ready and wouldn’t give me an estimate as to when a room would be ready. My only other option was to get ready in the pool changing rooms which was a disaster as the floor was soaking and the place was roasting. If you need your room early just book the night before to save yourself the hassle.
Rooms are gorgeous and spacious and the bathroom is amazing. Only thing missing from the room was a mini fridge, that’s the only addition to the room that would make it even better.
The one thing that was most disappointing was the cleaning team who service the rooms each day. When I arrived back the bed wasn’t properly made, the bathroom toiletries hadn’t been restocked, same with the coffee and tea tray, the dirty spoons and mug from the previous night were still there and curtains were still closed. This was the most disappointing aspect of the trip.
Overall it’s a lovely hotel with great facilities and everything you’ll need. But there are definitely a few areas that could improve.
