Room not clean, only chair in room was old desk chair with shredded covering, curtains dirty and hem torn, bed was hard, cheap amenities.

Nice spot for what we needed. Would stay again if in the area. We're there for a festival/concert.

We will not be returning. Please read!
I would have to give our stay a 2 star review at best. While from afar it looks clean and renovated, once you get close you see the flaws and deterioration. Alarms and mirrors had layers of dust, spiderwebs on side entrances were large and full of insects. The furniture had broken drawers, and many of the picture frames had chips and cracks in them. The bathroom renovation was done sloppily and the grout was on walls and on tiles near the corners. the Internet was not high speed and it was inconsistent at best. Our tablet kept asking to join a network. Their business center and customer use printer were down and the only way to print anything was to email the front desk and have them print off documents for us. What really stuck with us was the slow room service. Housekeeping didn't get to our room until well past 5pm when check in was at 3.

Unsatisfactory
Checked in... Dropped off bags in the hotel, went out shopping, dinner, etc., came back to hotel late...went to bed, tried getting comfortable for ½ hour, mattress was shot... Sagged so bad in centre, went to the front desk to let them know about the bed around midnight... Manager came into the room, waking my sons...(not sure why she had to come in the room to touch the bed) she was very rude... Told us to move to another room... We appreciated getting another room with beds that were more comfortable, but was not impressed spending $135.00Canadian and getting that kind of service....

Uninspired hotel staff ....change 'em out!
Chaotic check-in, several guests having problems with keys not working (including us....took three tries to find us a room where the door lock system actually worked). Sunday morning breakfast bar -8:00am - already out of coffee, garbage bins overflowing, nobody around attending the the obvious. The hired help there acted put-out by being asked to do anything for guests, including one guest who was checking out - there was nobody at the front desk as the gal was out front having a smoke - she asked another hotel worker about needing to check out and the response was "just leave your keys on the counter".....that wasn't good enough for the guest (nor would it have been for me either....no folio was left under your room door... no receipt...just leave?) Anyway, they summoned the desk clerk and she took care of the guest check out....but after I heard her complaining to her co-worker ..."what - I don't get to take a break?". Very unprofessional!
