Almost like Home
This place is really nice and comfortable. Has a home-y feel to it. The Staff is very helpful and accommodating. It isn’t extremely busy and crowded like many places. Also located right next to Smoke, which is a plus, and within short walking distance to several other good restaurants.

Retro and cool, but basics as far as comfort
This hotel is cool and retro but along with that comes outdated facilities and basic accommodations. The setup is artsy and it feels like you're definitely out of Dallas - more like Austin. As long as you are looking for a retro experience and don't mind basic, bare minimum accommodations, with a cool vibe, you will enjoy it. The pool area is cool with amazing views of the city. The front desk clerk was mediocre-friendly with a standoffish attitude and not overly helpful. The bartender/waitress, however, was very friendly and did a great job.

Have Drinks Here but Do Not Stay Here
I have always loved this hotel and the area surrounding it. The bar and views are amazing but overall my stay here was disappointing. The exterior of the hotel and bar are fantastic - truly on point with minimal/modern/hipster edge. However the decor of the rooms is truly terrible - does not go with the vibe of the hotel overall and it really simply blah. It was a real downer when I opened the door to the room. The pool was my next focus since the plan was for a pool time hangout with friends. I had called ahead to ensure they had lounge chairs and was assured they did. Aside from the view of downtown Dallas, this is one of the saddest pool areas I have seen. There were two tables for all guests to share and one set of lounge chairs. The towels were thrown upon a circular structure in a very haphazardly way. While I will go back for drinks at the bar I will not stay here again until management takes serious steps to overall the place.

Horrible hotel
Horrible 3.5 stars NO WAY Would have been better off in Motel 6 down the road Dirty Filthy bathroom No hair dryer tho the front desk insisted there was one in a black bag in the bathroom but no one came to help Could not adjust thermostat Front desk would not help No blankets just a little coverlet ——- froze Walls so thin every time any one flushed on either side of us —- woke Loud talking in halls all through the night and doors slamming Bed so lumpy and uncomfortable- pillows were flat little bumps Hot water in shower about 3 minutes then cold Have to pay an extra $10 for them to valet. No option Only one small mirror in bathroom TV was blurry and couldn’t get many channels again front desk didn’t help No way two people can get ready in here Have not stayed in a place this bad since college -I am 59 Asked for a refund No way They said we did not complain at the hotel Only about 10 times Makes me wonder about The next night we stayed at WinStar for $20 less and was a wonderful clean room with breakfast nice comfy beds

Belmont Hotel, Dallas
Property well located; close to downtown. Road noise is terrible since it sits above a four- way stop sign and trucks roll by all the time in low gears trying to make it up the steep hill. Very few of the rooms have the downtown views. While architecture is charming and pool area nice, the property is tired and needs remodel. Rooms are sparse and not well decorated. No breakfast included and not any alternative nearby.
