Good, but could be great
Nice, quiet and clean hotel with friendly AM staff. The pool was closed and the fridge was not working in my room. Also, a maintenance worker came into my room about 30 min after I checked in without knocking, checking on a microwave. He apologized, but still this cannot happen. Internet was good, tv was good, bathroom facilities worked as they should. Bed was comfy.

Great Option Near Flint/Grand Blanc
A gem of a discovery for when I need to visit family in Flint. Conveniently located near highway but far enough away to be quiet. Large open space in the entryway since it's a convention center. Not sure what it would be like to stay there while a convention is going on, but when there without any events taking place it was ideal.

I’d Stay Here Again Despite
I will stay here again if need and opportunity arises. The room was clean and well-appointed. Bathroom spotless (although a couple more towels would have been nice.) Refrigerator, small coffee maker, but no microwave. How ever, the desk clerk when we checked in was not rude but just indifferent. Even after I returned to point out that when I went to our assigned room SOMEONE WAS ALREADY OCCUPYING IT!! I really startled that poor woman when I opened the door to HER room! The desk clerk seemed mildly annoyed, tried to tell me the other person was not authorized to be in the room and sort of suggested it was the other guest’s fault. I was assigned another room but not offered any courtesy beyond that (rate reduction, free breakfast …anything. Additionally, our new room was near the elevator which, on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, was used frequently…and loudly. Overall, the accommodations in this hotel are fine, location just off the freeway is convenient. Customer service is a bit lacking.

OK stay
There is complimentary continental breakfast every day but Sunday. On Sunday is an "all you can eat buffet" for $10/ person. The buffet offers no more than standard breakfast as other hotels. The set up is confusing and not enough staff. The room was spacious but we were upgraded due to our reserved room not being available. The layout of the suite was very odd. The area is very safe and convenient to the freway.

Great hotel beds were very comfortable
I was very happy with this hotel. The beds were amazing, the TV was nice. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower had awesome pressure. Some of the other furniture was a little dated, we didn't get a microwave in our room, but there was one available in lobby. The pool area was really big and nice. I would stay there again. I saved $200 on a three night stay compared to others in the same area.

Just a few minor flaws - but nice visit
The staff was awesome and the team made us feel very welcome. The only "constructive criticism" we have is the gift shop/snacks. We paid for 5 or 6 snacks for our family and once we got them back to our room, the chips were SO stale they were inedible and the ice cream was too soft and had been for a while. It was really quite a waste of money. My husband is "non-confrontational" by nature and wasn't comfortable bringing it to the staff's attention, but someone may want to check their inventory and dates, please.

No partying here!!!
Didn't use the restaurant or the bar so I don't know. The sheets were among the best I've seen in a hotel. Tons of signs about how if you take the towels, no partying in the rooms, no more than 4 in the room, etc. All that says they can't attract a decent crowd.
