Great little older place that is being renovated.
The room was an economy room with TV, microwave, and refrigerator. But the best part was that the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept on in forever. I will be writing the owner to find out the brand and model of the mattress because I want to get one for my own bed. Next time I go through Magdelena I will be staying at High Country Lodge.

Nice stay
Property looks like it’s in process of being updated. Exterior has not been noticeably updated but the room we had had been updated! It was roomy, clean and comfortable. We appreciated the small fridge with bona fide small freezer! Happy with our stay! No brkft but our room was perfect for our needs. Very small town but friendly!

This property fits the mold of diamond in the rough. Driving by you would most likely keep on driving, in doing so you would miss out on gem of a property. The room was immaculate, freshly remodeled in mid-century flair. As an added bonus the Tumbleweeds cafe was a delight with it's excellent dining options. The drive into Magdalana on route 60 was an added bonus, beautiful scenery.
