Great location near Old Town
20 minute walk to train station along a lovely pedestrian path. Near to old town, and restaurants and shops. Be advised while there is an elevator, we were unable to get to our room without navigating some stairs. Beautiful old property.

Good location
Its a lovely hotel in a good location, our room was a good size and very clean. There is an unpleasant smell in the reception are which assume is caused by drains under the building, this is a shame as everywhere in the hotel is very clean. The reception staff were very pleasant but we were surprised that there were no staff after 9pm in the hotel, fortunately this wasn't a problem for us but thought it was unusual. Overall we had a very good stay and can recommend this hotel.

Lovely clean hotel with excellent staff
Lovely welcome with excellent, polite, friendly and informative staff. The gentleman that checked us in gave us very useful tourist information. The room was modern and clean and the reception was lovely too. Only downside was being woken up at 9am to building renovation work which we were not informed about. Also the parking was more expensive than the multistory car park down the road which we decided to use instead. Overall would highly recommend this hotel and the location was great too.

The hotel is located well for walking around Bruges. It has a very nice area around the reception and looks grand. The outside is also very nice, with an interior sitting area of garden type. What is not so nice are the rooms. Ours was a rather small, with no wardrobe to speak of and with a very small working desk. Never mind. What was really not good is that the window in the bathroom could not be closed. In mid-October this means feeling cold by night, since there was no working heating either. Having asked at the reception on the mornings of both Friday and Saturday for the problem to be resolved, it was really disappointing to see that after three nights in the hotel absolutely nothing was done. It was also disappointing to find that the room-maid 'forgot' to replenish coffee, milk and sugar on each morning. Last but not least, the member of the staff to whom the complaint about the window was passed was unusually rude.

False advertising
False advertising saying that there is parking onsite (the reason we booked here) to then be told that parking is actually 1400m away and that we needed to reserve parking two weeks in advance (difficult when we only booked the hotel one day in advance!). This should be clearly listed. Breakfast was poor quality and there was no hot food left even 90 minutes before end of Breakfast. Room cleaners incredibly noisy at 0900 when check out is 1100. Hotel reception staff very smug and patronising towards foreign clients. Room across courtyard and quiet but really dated and reminds me of 1990. Really, don't stay here if you value sleep, food or good service. I'll report this to hotels.com to get my money back

Very elegant snd beautiful hotel in walking distance to the centre. Parking is very convenient in the courtyard but only limited amount of spots. Very smooth check-in and courteous staff
