    Escape and Recharge

    Perfect location as we saw a show nearby. It is so lovely that we stayed as long as possible, finishing our stay listening to the grand piano eating out charcuterie platter.

    A beautiful property. Staff member at reception/ check-in was very friendly and professional. We arrived at 5:20 approx., only to be told our room wasn't ready yet... check-in time was 4:00! Had to wait to have a 'superior' authorize assigning us another room. it was resolved quickly. Not sure if we hadn't requested to get another room, we would've been left to wait.We then sat in our room for some time waiting for our luggage, unable to leave! it was the end of a 2 wk vacation and only had the 1 night to spend in Melbourne. We wanted to walk & explore a bit before finding a nice place for dinner. Since we lost time due to snafu we were disappointed! Upon returning to rm we found a bottle of champagne chilling & 2 flutes. Lovely gesture to make for our loss of time. Wished we had more time to enjoy the city.
