Comfortable, quiet
Business hotel close to the center. We were here on a weekend, with fewer business guests; it was very quiet, pleasant, and cost-effective. We enjoyed our stay, and ,will be back if we are again in the area.

A regular hotel close to Bristol Temple Meads
We booked this hotel because we were traveling by train, and it was definitely convenient to the station, and most of what you'd want to see in Bristol is in walking distance. The reception staff were all very polite and helpful, especially when we had to change rooms (the first one we got smelled strongly of sulfur) and in lending us an adapter for our laptop. Unfortunately, we could hear our neighbors really well in the new room, almost able to make out their entire conversation, and the man had a loud cough and made hacking noises, so I wasn't thrilled, but we were out most of the evening and our neighbors were quiet until they got up the next morning. We did get the breakfast, a buffet with a large variety, which was convenient because there aren't a lot of options around if you're catching an early train.

Paper thin walls and loud guests
We unfortunately had a terrible night as around 4:30am a very loud and drunk group returned to their room next to ours. The walls in the hotel are paper thin and this wasn’t helped by the fact we had an adjoining door. It was as if they were in the room with us which was very unsettling. This continued for some time and we were forced to complain with security being sent up. Due to the city centre position the hotel seems to be popular with stag weekends and football fans.
