Beautiful lodge and grounds. Very comfortable room and wonderful restaurant and staff. Great value for money.

Our room was large and pleasant, very nice for a family. The bathroom and kitchen had a slightly "past their peak" feel to them but everything worked and there were no problems. Lots of trees all around give the Lodge a quiet, secluded feel. The restaurant food seemed a bit pricey compared to what we were paying elsewhere in S. Africa, but the food was good.

The sea view suites were so beautiful, with a magnificent view of the the Indian Ocean from the the balcony. The whole property is beautiful as well, and the entire staff was helpful and friendly, especially Jean in reception. We enjoyed the Sundowner Bar and In the Reeds restaurant and meeting Frank the croc was a highlight of our stay. Thanks so much for such a wonderful ending to our South Africa journey.

Room was fine, small living area w/kitchenette and separate bedroom. Beach area was very nice, secure and secluded. Didn't realize when booking that the room had no a/c, and it was quite warm and humid the day we were there. That was the only real drawback.

Really enjoyed this destination. Access to the beach. Lovely swimming pools, great restaurant. Rooms were clean comfortable, simple and maintained. I know this hotel changed from protea to three cities and some of the earlier reviews left me anxious as to what I would find. We had two chalets. Both comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks three cities - nicely done. We would come again.

This hotel was well sign posted. Perfectly acceptable rooms if a little dated. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious.

I arrived late in the evening, and there was no running hot water. I wasn't placed in the room I had requested, and had to move to another which ended up being the same, albeit with hot water. The shower is tiny, some of the windows had boken locks, so they weren´t actually closed. Let alone the TV. Not worth it.

Hotel got room type wrong and i ended up waiting for 45min while staff looked for a twin since we had been given a double. Eventually we were told housekeeping would convert the room. We were given a free breakfast. Room was aged and fairly small with kitchenette.
