Hotel was run down and dirty. Room to small. Had to pay for an upgrade when we got there as room was unacceptable

Convenient but that's it.
This hotel is very convenient, being right in the middle of Old Town. However, it is "creaky" old and most rooms are in need of a serious upgrade. The bare essentials are present, but they are old. Originally, I booked a double, but with our 6 pieces of luggage, it was simply too small. I mean really small. Fortunately for only $30/night, I was able to upgrade to a suite, which was gigantic.

The hotel is small and old without any updated maintenance.

Don't go in the Summar
This hotel desperately needs some air-conditioning. My room was musty and hot, and the bed had only a thick duvet. It was just too hot to sleep. I opened the window one evening, but there are no screens over the windows and a pigeon flew in. Yes, it really happened. Quite a surprise on getting back from dinner. Yes, the staff were friendly. Yes the food was good. Yes, it's handy to be right on the high street. But none of that really matters if you can't sleep.
