About Adara Hotel, Whistler

Adjacent to the Whistler Conference Centre, the Adara Hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, 200 meters from the bustling Village Square. Skiing and snowboarding, golfing, river rafting, zip trekking and bungee jumping are some of the recreational opportunities available in the immediate area.

Hotel Features.
With views toward Whistler, Blackcomb, Rainbow, and Sprott Mountains, as well as Whistler Village, the Adara Hotel, which was awarded Canada's Best Ski Boutique Hotel at the 2013 World Ski Awards, is a smart choice for vacationers and business travelers. As with most Whistler hotel accommodations, wood, stone and other natural materials are used to reflect the beauty of the landscape. At the Adara Hotel, these materials are playfully juxtaposed with modernist furnishings, rich colors, and innovative surface treatments to create a stylish and slightly different Whistler experience.

The outdoor spa tub is open year-round, and the 10-meter (11-yard) outdoor pool is open in summer; both feature views of the surrounding mountains. Ski storage, 24-hour concierge service, complimentary wireless Internet, a library and video library, and secure underground valet parking are also available.

Guestroom decor at the Adara Hotel also delves into the contemporary realm, encompassing features such as European design-inspired seating pieces, outsized walk-in showers with "rain" showerheads, sheepskin throws, and original artwork. Unique elements include the "floating" fireplace, which is built into a custom-designed cabinet, modeled to look as though it is suspended in mid-air.

Even minor touches like wool-upholstered furnishings push the rooms past the edge of the commonplace. Spa bathrooms and luxurious beds are standard in all accommodations, while the larger rooms contain amenities such as flat-panel TV, DVD player, patios and, in certain units, full kitchens. Connecting/adjoining rooms are available, and cribs (infant beds) can be provided for an additional fee.

Everything great except the bed was a little uncomfortable.

    Luxury modern and affordable!
First impression when entering the lobby was modern, updated, clean, and quality. Our room was very spacious, clean,, and had microwave oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, and a small fridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. LOVED the morning fresh out of oven granolas and afternoon fresh out of oven chocolate ship cookies. Overall I lived the hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, although would like to be informed about paying for parking when you book a room as additional fees were required

    Disappointing balcony
Reserved a loft suite with balcony. The balcony is more like 2 chairs on a roof in a recess between adjacent room the powder coated roof awnings. Roof deck was a huge step up off the upstairs bedroom, felt very constrictive, and definitely not worth the additional cost.

Great hotel for a family of 4
We stayed here 3 nights. Staff was friendly. $20CAD for parking. Rooms decent size for a family of 4. Boot warmers were used for drying out our swim shorts. Robes were a nice touch too. Fridge and Microwave in the room. We decided to stay a 4th night and picked another hotel (Listel) next door just for variety. We didn't realize how spacious our room was until we had something smaller to compare it to. The hotel is located centrally and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.
