Centro Historico Oasis
A nice, modern hotel, very appealing restaurant, amidst the chaos of Centro Historico. The modern design of the bathroom is a bit confining.

Hot Rooms + Hidden Cost
I was there in May when it was not so hot but they put the room temp at 23 degrees celcius, much too hot for me, you have control in your room but I set it at 15 to see if I could get the room less hot and the lowest it would go was 22.5, kept waking up all night so hot, windows sealed, also each room has one of those cheap drip coffee makers and one pack of ground coffee for it. Everything else in room tells price if you use it but the coffee says nothing so of course you would make a pot thinking free like most hotels. When I checked out they charged 60 pesos (about $4) for coffee, they must make a fortune on it as most people wont buy the stuff in the room because its so overpriced but this way they do get you to pay for the room food stuff, they know everyone thinks its complimentary. Anyway, its an nice enough hotel but due to the above I will never stay here again.

Great place near historic landmarks
A great and friendly hotel near the amazing central historical part of Mexico City! My son and I speak almost no Spanish and they were very accommodating.

Good hotel, bad service
The hotel itself is good, and the historic center is a nice area if you're visiting Mexico. It is a bit complicated to get out of the area in the morning to attend meetings though. Room was OK on the 4th floor although all I could see through the window was a wall, despite booking a "superior room". The hotel has a restaurant / terrace on the 5th floor. Nothing fancy but OK to get a drink while you wait for your room. The service at the property was disatrous during my 5-night stay. To give a couple of examples, for 5 days I asked to get a new bottle of water in my room and never got it, so I ended up buying it outside myself. It takes almost 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee for breakfast - for some reason they won't let you help yourself to it - and my orders were either wrong or forgotten about twice. Coming back from a day of work, the room hadn't been cleaned on one occasion. It's still a decent pick if you're visiting the area for leisure, but I won't be back.
