Parents or a legal guardian traveling with children under 18 years must present the child's birth certificate and an identity card with photo (passport, for example) at the check-in. For international travels from Brazil, if just one of the parents is traveling with the child, she/he must present – in addition to the child's certificate of birth and identity card with photo – a letter authorizing the trip signed by the other parent with a notarial certification of signature. In case the parents or the legal guardian, as applicable, cannot or are unwilling to give this authorization, a judicial authorization is required. People who intend to travel to Brazil with children must consult with the Brazilian consulate before traveling for more information.

The property has connecting/adjoining rooms, which are subject to availability and can be requested by contacting the property using the number on the booking confirmation.

Excellent price for the good quality!
Good facilities. Excellent location. Nearby 2 very good restaurants (actually right next door. One on the left and the other one on the right). Steaks: Picanha and Italian: Fratelli.

Good option at the Barra da Tijuca
In my opinion the hotel is old, because of this you have the sensation that somethings are strange, as an example the carpet, that is old, but was so clean. But in overall this is a very good hotel, staff is polite, the breakfast is amazing, and tho hotel is in front of the beach. Finally, the price is appropriate to the kind of the hotel.

Excellent staff, clean rooms, good value
Excellent helpful, courteous staff! The Internet was not super good, which was not hotel staff fault, but they were appropriately responsive. Allowed me early check in and late check out. Breakfast bar very good. Work out room ok (ellipticals weren't working, r3 treadmills, 2 recumbent bikes). The area doesn't have a lot near by and is far from downtown and shopping but this hotel is the best value if you are attending the convention center there. The most difficult aspect for me was there is no in-room coffee maker or tea pot.

Excellent hotel, but wifi was unusable
The hotel is very nicely maintained. Rooms are decent sized, but most have only one window which makes them seem small and dimly lit. Beds, bathroom and amenities all fine. Wifi costs $R35 per 24 hours. Very annoying to not have any free wifi anywhere in the hotel (not even the lobby). The wifi worked just long enough to charge our credit card but would not connect despite trying on multiple devices over two days. The hotel reversed the charges when we asked, but two days with no internet access is a deal breaker especially for international travelers. Nice breakfast and pool area, but rooftop pool is very small.
