worse for the wear
good enough for solo western business travelers who have not experienced Japanese excellence elsewhere. not much to say in terms of where this hotel excels. some notes on where improvements are necessary (based on our stay in a tower suite): * it's 2023--time to get rid of your alarm clocks with the 30 pin ipod connector. apple hasn't made a product with this connector since 2014--9 years ago * love stains on the couch gotta get cleaned up. this is gross. * the tower suites are huge, but the bathroom is tiny. there's room for one person only in the bathroom. * the shower area has a bathtub which has these huge open gaps on both sides--god knows what's growing/lurking there. i'm sure this hotel was great at some point, but its current state is lacking. will not return. to be fair, none of these issues were brought up to the management.

Fantastic hotel located in Shinjuku just a couple of minutes away from the pulse in a quiet area. Everything was amazing except for the cleaning in the room. Not happy to find a guest’s underwear and socks under the bed when booking a room like this

Disappointing
We do not recommend staying at this hotel. The service was lacklustre and not what you would expect from Hilton. We arrived at 6 am and the staff told us our room won’t be ready till 3 to 4 pm, despite our check in time being 3 pm. They also told us that they can’t honour our Hilton membership but would give us access to the lounge and breakfast (despite that being in the package that we booked so really they weren’t providing us with any additional service that we hadn’t paid for). We had to go downstairs to ask them to assist with a dinner reservation since we required a local number as guest services wasn’t able to call through to concierge. When we went down, concierge was free and we saw that they were just ignoring the phone that was ringing non-stop. The staff also refused to help a customer order a cab in the executive lounge. They also don’t soundproof the glass so even if you’re on level 30+ you can hear the sirens in the hospital nearby. There are better options at this price point.
