Good 6.0
Cheap Motel, Rough Neighborhood, Convenient Locale
In our initial room, the sheets, comforter, and pillow cases were dirty and the front desk attendant refused to change them out. We ended up having to change rooms. The sheets were clean in the next room. The motel is on a street with a bad assortment of run down bars and liquor stores with the interesting dichotomy of being across the street from a nice park and golf course. Nonetheless, the location was very convenient for getting to Deep Ellum and Fair Park. Each Uber rider was under $10. The parking lot was extremely well lit due to the bad neighborhood, so be sure to close the window curtains. All in all, it was cheap but I would recommend staying somewhere else if you are not comfortable in these types of run down areas and cheap motels.

Good 6.0
Eh, not horrible for price, not for kids
Room was cleaner than expected and decent for price. The air had been off for some time so, it took 4 or so hours to cool it off once we got there. Very busy street, even heard a wreck and a couple near misses. Woke up around 130 am to a couple screaming at each other so, that was nice... Walls were super thin. Stairwells (all of them) need a good powerwash. Parking was inadequate for how many rooms there are. Grounds were surprisingly clean but every near and in the office smelled of Indian food. Staff was decent, I'm guessing they have no actual employees, just a large family that handles housekeeping and property management. We didn't use the shower, microwave, iron or fridge but they all looked extremely clean and well kept. Not a horrible place for an adult needing a cheap sleep but I don't recommend kids since it's in a sketchy area. Several bars, liquor stores and vagrants of all types close to this hotel. There is a DART stop right outside the gate, as well so, convenient if you're bussing anywhere.

Poor 2.0
Definitely not what is advertised!
Very sketchy/scary neighborhood! Terrible parking! Uber driver wouldn't even come to the hotel because the area is so bad. Saw multiple drug deals go down in the parking lot of this hotel. Tried to park up front in the three parking spots there but was made to move to the very back of the parking lot even though our room was directly above the office. There were blood stains on the curtains and legitimate bullet holes in the door! Very very scary!! Not worth the money. The hotel staff hangs out in the front outside of the office with no shoes on.. very unprofessional and unsanitary place. Oh, and the toilet paper had been used that was in our room as well as the "extra" roll they provided. The ice machine is chained down with a big chain and you have to sign a waiver when you get there saying they aren't responsible for your vehicle getting broken into, you getting mugged, or hurt while going to your vehicle! STAY AWAY!

The night lady was a nightmare
We we're allowed to check in at 2:10. We left at 4:30pm to attend our event. When I arrived back and parked at 9:30 the lady behind the glass said we couldn't park in front of the office and I explained I had a handicap placard she still refused to let me park in the handicap space. She then proceeded to cuss me in front of my child to the point I requested my money back. She was the most disrespectful person. I'm pretty sure she cannot deny a person parking in a space with a proper placard. She even had her personal vehicle in the other handicap spot. I'm very unhappy with her attitude and manner she spoke with me.

Sketchy
First, I had no idea it was a motel until I got there. The rooms were surprisingly nice. The staff was absolutely horrible. Or the woman that works there anyway. SO rude. Can't even understand her. I was staying there to go to an event, & I had friends come over to all ride together to the show & she yelled at us all & said I couldn't have any visitors & they were only there for 10 minutes. We also got into another altercation later that night.
