    Great location
Great location. They were building a train path right next to the hotel, so traffic was horrible by car. Hopped a quick boat ride across the river to get transportation to avoid it. Restaurants on site were expensive. Just a block away there are some good dining options that are like 1/2 the price.

Nice but expensive hotel. We got 3 rooms. Rooms on 20th floor good, room on 11th floor smelly/in need of renovation. Breakfast buffet good. Beds on 20th floor very comfortable. Rooftop 360 lounge/restaurant amazing but very expensive. Cigar humidor tiny with extremely limited selection (take river taxi across river to Mandarin Oriental, cigar bar is amazing!) River taxi was unique and fun way to get around. This hotel caters to Westerners & Europeans. We missed the oriental atmosphere.

    Great hotel on the river.
This hotel was amazing. We stayed in a king room overlooking the river. It was clean and modern. The front desk area is impressive. The concierge was helpful with booking tours. The breakfast is beyond with several different cultural foods and western comforts. We never had to eat lunch. They have a nice boat that takes you to the central pier to take your own boat or public boat to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, or Wat Arun. We also took a long tail tour of the canals from the hotel dock. Highly recommend. Their pool is also cool as it overlooks the river from the fourth floor. Not too busy either. Overall, an excellent hotel for tourists to see the main attractions of Bangkok.
