Exceptional
Stayed on the 28th floor in and Executive Level room. Great views and very comfortable. Executive Level breakfast and evening libations are on the 31st floor with access to the roof. Food and service were excellent. Also had breakfast and dinner in the main hotel dining room both of which were very well done. This is a fine hotel and I certainly would recommend it. Note, however, the hotel is located in Thonburi across the river from the main Bangkok attractions. The hotel provides a free ferry to the main pier at Saphon Taksin, where there is a BTS station, as well as access to the Chao Phrya River express boats that will get you to a number attractions located near the river. The new IconSiam shopping center is very close to the hotel and is well worth visiting. A number of moderatley priced quality restaurants are located there, and the shopping center also has a free ferry back to Saphon Taksin. A new BTS station should locate there within the next 18 months. This is the construction to which the hotel is making reference. Wasn't particularly inconveniencing, however. I would not recommend taking the rail link to or from the main airport unless you are traveling very light. You'll have a number of trains to change and steps to maneuver.

We chose to stay at the Millenium Hilton after great research , and the fact that breakfast was included in the price . We booked a room for two people only to find on arrival that the room had mysteriously been confirmed for one, despite following the step by step on line Expedia booking service. We explained to the hotel manager Sonny that there had obviously been a mistake and would it be an issue if we both had breakfast and we would sort it out with Expedia on our return ..Sonny then explained to us that there would be an extra charge of 700 baht a day , which to us was unacceptable as we were under the impression that breakfast was included in the £ 278 charge for our stay . It was also a buffet breakfast and would have no effect to the hotel cost whether we had it or not . This isn’t cheap !!! Sonny explained to us that it was an Expedia problem and not his , which could be the case !! But the way he handled us was not with any understanding of our issue and explained that he would give us a special price of 500 tbh a day which we still found unacceptable . That’s £30 pounds for 3 days of a buffet breakfast on top of our original cost. We felt it had become a battle of wills rather than an effort from Sonnys side to keep us happy . Surely this is not Hilton policy . So !!! My partner and myself ended up not taking breakfast , and went outside of the hotel grounds to eat . Not a great start to our holiday., as you can imagine. Could someone could please explain ???

ON TUE. 9/319, AT APPROXIMATELY 10;30 PM, WE RETURNED FROM A DINNER CRUISE. UPON RETURN TO OUR ROOM (2702), MYY WIFE OBSEREVED A COCKROACH ON THE NIGHT STAND. I INFORMED MY WIFE TO TAKE A PHOTO AND NOT KILL THE ROACH. I TOOK THE PHOTO, GOT DRESSED AND CONTACTED THE FRONT DESK WHO IN TURN CONTACTED THE NIGHT MGR. (SUNNY). HE INFORMED THAT HE WAS SORRY, AND MOVED US TO ANOTHER ROOM, ALSO WAVE THE UPGRADE FEE THAT WAS PAID.HE SENT A BELLMAN TO ASSIST US WITH THE MOVE. BY NOW IT'S 11:45 PM. WE HAD A TOUR AT 0600 HOURS THE NEXT DAY 9/4/19, BY THE TIME WE WENT TO BED IT WAS PAST MIDNIGHT. SUNNY WAS VERY POLITE, HOWEVER I FEEL SOMEWHAT SHORT CHANGED, FOR THIS TO HAPPEN IN A SUITE, WHICH WE PAID AN UPGRADE FEE. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION? AS A SIDE NOTE THE NEW ROOM HAD DEAD FLOWERS. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT HILTON PROPERTIES, AND I HOPE THIS WAS AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. AS IT IS WELL KNOWN WHERE THERE IS ONE ROACH THERE IS ANOTHER. LOOK FOR TO YOUR REPLY

Disappointing Stay
After spending three weeks in Thailand ( from Chiang Mai to Phuket) four hotel stays this hotel and its' staff was my least favorite. Our flight arrived early and we got to the hotel after 1p.m. During check in I found the staff member named Mon very unprofessional and rude. I was told that I would not be able to check-in, that I failed to include my 2nd guess who would have to pay for breakfast, and I was welcomed to wait at the pool not in the lobby. When I mentioned that I was not given any information about the hotel, wifi code, amenities offered or breakfast time Mon reinforced that my guest would have to pay for breakfast before offering any information about the hotel. I sit in the lobby and after waiting an hour I speak to Jay at conceirge about local attractions and transportation who is very friendly and welcoming. I asks to check-in and I am allowed to check-in at about 1430. I see the couple beside me has a map and the receptionist is going out of her way to explain in detail the question that the guest has. I then asks if I can have a map and abruptly Mon tells me, "go to the conceirge". So I swallow my frustrations after being told i can wait at the pool and not the lobby and go to the conceirge for a map.The next day I woke up after 0600 and I have a 0720 pick up time I go downstairs and asks if I can have a to go container I was told that I could not take food for other guess. This was the last insult. These concerns were taken to management.

Very Good
The hotel has the best location, which is just right next to iconSiam and also easily accessible to all tourist attractions by boats. Bed is really comfy and bathroom size is right for the price, love bath tub though took me quite a while to figure out the hot and cold water. Too little amenities available so i had to ask for some more extra. Staffs at reservations and at the concierge are lovely and very helpful , made me feel welcoming. The swimming pool though is 25 meters long but only for maximimum 2-3 people to use for lap swimming only. Really small than what i previously thought. So i couldn't swim, I feel like it's more for people to sit in the pool and having a drink more than for people who look to swim. Car park is dark and quite isolated at the basement not recommend to use at night.. There was construction going on also in some area of the hotels.
