This place had a lot of potential. The location is great however, the derelict building next door was unsettling and looked taken over by homeless individuals. The parking is okay, but very tight, especially if you have a larger car. The location is good for walkability to a small town and about 2 miles to downtown.
The biggest issue I had with this place was the cleanliness. When we arrived, the place was not clean (hair in the shower, pillows stained, couch pungent with body odor, and the whole place smelled like a gym sock which I later discovered to be a dirty wet mop put away in the cupboard). While some of this could certainly be fixed with better cleaning staff, the setup for the bathroom is never going to make the place feel comfortable. The shower and toilet are in one giant room with the drain on the floor, and a squeegee mop is provided. The shower head hits the toilet soaking it, and all the floor around the toilet (how unsanitary!) and the room always smells damp. There were not many additional towels or floor mats to help clean up the water, so the bathroom was basically off-limits after someone showered unless you wanted wet feet. There's only one window, but it does not have a screen, so you run the risk of letting bugs in the unit (and there were already gnats).
After speaking with the management about my concerns, they only reimbursed me for a small portion of overpriced stay. This property is certainly not worth the money it costs to stay there!
