Great location in the midst of Gamla Stan and near the Parliament building where members debated who would be the next Prime Minister.

Very cramped bathroom!!
those who appreciate character and charm and all things antique will appreciate this hotel. Its in the heart of old town. Narrow streets and alleys surround this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not so great with limited choices. The room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. However bathroom was very small and cramped. The toilet was so close to the wash basin that I could easily brush my teeth and wash my face without making a mess, all the while sitting on the pot going no. 2. Bathroom was literally 2 - 2.5 feet wide. I bumped a lot of body parts in the 2x2 shower. If you don't like cramped spaces do not book this hotel. Hotel could've done a better job of clarifying this with their photos.

An ok hotel, no for me.
This is a very picturesque hotel in the middle of the old town, so location is good, walking distance to everywhere. Actually I think that is better stay in a hotel near by the old town and not inside. The room was extremely small, if you have big suitcases probably you wont have enough space for you. lol The room has very basic amenities and the bed is tinny but comfortable. The hotel is clean and the front desk persons were very nice and helpful. I was just for one night and I barely could sleep, the bells of the cathedral were ringing the whole night every 15 or 20 min. It was a nightmare.

Decent budget hotel in historic area
Hotel was in the old town (Gamla Stan) which is cool for tourist. Closest Public transportation is about 10 min walk. It’s surrounded by history and great walking attractions but also by mainly souvenir shops & tourist restaurants/bars. The hotel & room is pretty clean. Room is very small, bathroom even smaller. There’s a lighted artwork right over the bed with a bright yellow light shining down on your face when in bed. No way of shutting it off. Doesn’t make sense. They give a fan which is good because no AC or heat. Can open the window but no shear blinds so the building next door can very much see into your room. It was so hot that I opted to take my chances with vanity rather than close the thick drapes and shut off any air flow. It was fine. Service was very nice & helpful. Breakfast was good and similar to other Norway hotels. The rooftop deck (pool deck) is very cool part. Worth going up there. There’s access to a sauna but I didn’t have time to take advantage. Seems cool too.
