Very Good 8.0
Excellent choice for Iguazu, if you can afford!
Very good stay! The staff was friendly, the bathroom had lots of towels, and the facilities were awesome. I loved the bar in the lobby, and the restaurant had amazing food!! Also it's great to stay here to have access to the park at night. The bed was comfy, the A/C and the wifi worked well. I only gave 4-stars because as a Belmond and for this price, I would've liked a bigger room.

A gem in Iguassu Falls, Brazil
Everything was fantastic. We were upgraded to a suite, our room was fantastic, breakfast buffet had a full range of options, and the service was first rate. This is an A+ resort in a beautiful location. If I had to choose a negative, the formal dining room (dinner) meals were on the small size. However, the food was superb.

Beautiful
This is a lovely hotel in one of the most beautiful natural areas on the planet! The price is justified by the ability to enjoy the waterfalls before and after the park closes. Though we were awakened at 5 am by what sounded like horses galloping in the room above us for hours, we very much enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was exceptionally delightful! The hotel has very good food and drinks, and "spa" water and brigadeiro (Brazilian candy) available in the lobby at all hours. Receiving complimentary havaianas in the room (and they swap out sizes so you get your exact size!) was a super nice touch too. Don't forget to go up in the hotel's tower to enjoy sunrise/the view! They have nice historical photographs up there too.

Splurged for Two Nights Stay
Loved the hotel and grounds. Spent several hours just swimming in and enjoying the fancy pool with adjoining bar and restaurant. The view of the falls from the hotel was out of this world! Paid a high price for the room and only wish they didn’t have us walking (for what felt like) a 1/2 mile to get there. Our room was far away from the lobby and took a maze of corridors and 2 flights of steps to get there. Also wish the food and drink prices were more reasonably priced like they were at the fancy Meliá Hotel we stayed in on the Argentinian side. Brazil has reasonable priced food (as we found in Rio) but I figure the Belmont knows they have a captive audience and take advantage of it. Overall (food pricing and room location aside) it was a wonderful stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the location and the ambience of the hotel.
