Very good stay.would recommend for Barcelona
the hotel is an older historic building with a lot of character. The service was very good and the rooftop terrace provided a place to hang out for my wife (who is a smoker) and get drinks. The excellent location of the Hotel was right off the Ramblas and easy to find local restaurants and shopping. Because our room faced an inner courtyard it was very quiet. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good if a little pricey. A couple of gripes: The need to put your key into a wall slot after you entered the room for the lights to stay on more than about 15 seconds. Forgot a couple of times and ended up in the bathroom with no lights. Shower system is a little peculiar to operate but got the hang of it after a while. Hallway carpeting was worn and probably should be replaced. Overall a very good experience.

Nice hotel- very loud rooms
Hotel very nice but is was VERY noisy. Could hear people upstairs and in the halls. Walls were paper thin, heard everything.
