    Sea front at your living room window.
    I arrived with my family at 11 am on 18th july 19 .check in time was told 3 but early flight landing had no choice but to arrive early at hotel .2 young tired grand children from London journey .my room was not ready .I was offerd one room till my room ready that unexpected but value the customer care nd change of policy on humanity regardless of any finance gain .my grand children fall in sleep till 4pm yet we was not evicted at time when our room was ready . Our memory at 486 was unforgettable ocen miles views at sea front water is in few meters distance large vidows make you feel that you are in lagoon nd water is under your villa/building .if i have not stayed i would naver see mumbai from this angel at all .2 nights was not better then 2 days .my grand children did not want to move from window.swimmingpull for kids with life guards around on duty made us relaxed. Choice of food for us nd kids is very important to my grand children as they would not eat any indian spicy dishesh but they found there choice nd tastes that was one point i was worried but it met .I can not find anything bad at all if i do it will be injustice. 486 will be rememberd for years for my grand children as one sad ; Dada this is my home now in mumbai for ever i will come all the time i come to india. J w marriott has many qualities nd master in hospitalities .i have stayed in june i will come back in August as promised to my grand that 486 is for sure for your stay in mumbi before departure London

    Questionable hygiene standards. (Don't stay here!)
    I didn’t enjoy my stay and definitely won’t be back. I tried to change hotels but it was too short notice. I chose this hotel for the view but my room (an executive club) although listed as ocean view only had a partial view. Despite attempting to check in ~17:00 (i.e. 2 hours after check-in commenced) I had over an hours wait. Then my suitcase went missing, it took over 2 hours to be re-united with it. It was obvious the room (420) had not been cleaned properly just quickly straightened up. I noticed a pair of slippers by the bed and thought it was part of the turn down service until closer inspection revealed that they were a used pair. The room was just dirty, there were stains across all of the hotel literature, the towels were grey, the shower and WC area covered in limescale/mould. I complained and 26 hours after check in, with much chasing, I was provided with the room (456) I had pre-paid for. Breakfast was the usual fare for hotels of this type, not particularly tasty but sufficient variety for my stay, I enjoyed the option of having ice cream at breakfast. Here again the cutlery and crockery were dirty, I had to request changes daily.This hotel's team need to realise that you can’t make up for bad service by attempting to ply people with gifts: one morning the breakfast team tried to gift me some tea masala which had a hair in it, this again highlights the hygiene standards. On a positive note check out was smooth and I was glad to bid the place good riddance.

ALL OF IT, I STAYED ALMOST A WEEK HAD 3 ROOMS BOOKED AND WAS PAYING ALMOST 400USD PER ROOM IN VERY SMALL ROOMS AND WITH THE WORST SERVICE I COULD GET. MY GUESTS WERE SHOCKED, I ALWAYS STAY IN THIS HOTEL BUT WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED FOR THE AMOUNT I WAS PAYING I GOT THE SMALLEST ROOMS EVER, THE CLEANING WAS SO BAD THAT WE WOULD NOT GET AMENITIES OR TOILET PAPER, NO TURN DOWN SERVICE IN ANY OF THE NIGHTS. BREAKFAST HAD TO WAIT 20 TO 30 MINUTES AND AFTER GETTING THE TABLE COUL WAIT 10 TO GET COFFEE OR TEA. MY COMPANY MADE A BOOKING AND GOT CONFIRMED FOR 11000 RUPIES, AND I ALSO MADE IN HOTELS.COM FOR THE SAFE SIDE FOR 380USD, WHEN I GOT TO THE HOTEL MY COMNY BOOKING NEVER EXISTED AND THIS WAS HANDLED BY MR SIDHART, AS MR CHUGGANNI ASKED HIM FOR THE BOOKING OF 3 ROOMS. AND IT WAS ALL CONFIRMED, IF I DIDNT DO A SIDE BOOKING I WOULD NOT HAVE ANY ROOMS. I HONESTRLY NEVER THOUGHT THIS COUL BE SO BAD. IT WAS THE WORST EVER, I ONLY STAY IN 5 STAR HOTELS AND I COULD RATE THIS HOTEL AS A 3.     Its a nice hotel close to the beach. Fantastic Location, great food and beverage options to choose from. Quite close to the best shopping areas, salons, bars, restaurants in Mumbai. Rooms were quite compact compared to competitors like Taj and Oberoi. The only concern was on the day of Arrival when we had booked a Range Rover for Pick Up and also confirmed with the team but it did not turn up at the airport. There was some mismanagement and it got allotted to somebody else. Though there was a back up Audi A6 but had to then somehow fit the luggage. We had more than 4 bigs bags. On reaching the hotel at 2am they said our Room was not ready and we will have to wait, this wait business went on until 2:45am, when we were told there was a technical glitch and they would give another room. We had paid for an ocean view room on special New Years Dates for 7 nights. After speaking to Duty Manager, they managed to move us to another room the next morning which we have booked, but we think they sold our room out as we made a late check in inspite of informing. They figured it out but this issue at 2am is not appreciated.
