Old and noisy hotel
The hotel is quite old, noisy and expensive. I was assigned to the 8 floor and I could hear all the noises coming from the street. When I asked the front desk for a different room they said the 8th floor was the only non smoking floor.

Good location, value for money
Pretty good location, not so close to MTR (700-800m) but there's a tram stop in front and a bus stop just cross the street (including A12 Airport bus which can be faster (and cheaper) than Airport Express). Calm area, convenience stores around, good breakfast locations as well (Blue Mountain Cafe our favourite). Stayed 7 nights at triple room, as for HK standards, there was enough room to keep 3 big travel suitcases ;) 3.5* rating seems accurate.

Another great stay
2nd stay at the Best Western this year. Since the last stay in January covid restrictions have eased although the hotel is still not fully operational eg bar not open. Room cleaning is on request which suited us anyway. Plenty of fresh towels available from reception whenever needed. As mentioned in my last review the hotel is showing its age but it is still great value and the location is great for getting to Central - only HK$3 by tram which stops right outside

I stayed here gor 8 days the room was never cleaned or the towels and bed sheet were never changed no porter service dark room no excess to proper taxis pick I would not recommend this hotel to any one

The size of the room is pretty much comparable to the North America ones. That's pretty much all that is good. The property is pretty much beat up. The toilet base is full of stains and the shower stall has areas with black mold. The bathroom fan is working with the sound of a fan but no effect. The funiture is allbworn out. The desk, the dresser and the drawers are washed out. Is like they just had it from antique store. The chair has no cushion or the cushion has been flattened. There is no daily cleaning and we were told to get our daily supplies like towels, bathroom tissues and water from the supply corner next to front desk. Theree is a staff there to SERVE you the supplies. But his attitude is very bad. Everytime when people ask for supplies, he ask for room number. I think it is reasonable to ask room number but is the tone and how he ask. Then he slam the items on the table. At one point, i almost lost it. If you go and get the supplies after 10pm, no one is there to ask anything. The servers in the restaurant downstairs also full of attitudes. I don't know how this one is labeled as Plus. This is not the kind of BW Plus i know.
